Kathmandu Boudhanath 12 Boudhanath Stupa From Tamang Gompa  [18 of 27]

There is an especially good view of the main entrance to the upper Boudhanath Stupa near Kathmandu from the top floor of the Tamang Gompa on the north side of the kora. Boudhanath is the largest stupa in Nepal, and one of the largest in the world. It is a religious center for Nepal's considerable population of Tibetans. It supposedly dates from the fifth century AD.
